Using the Camera While Charging

You can simultaneously charge and record with the camera. To do this, you can use the supplied USB cable. Use that to connect your camera to a USB wall charger or auto charger that outputs 5V and 1A. You cannot record while the camera is connected to a computer.

How to Prevent the Lens from Fogging During Filming

If you are using the camera in an environment where the inside of the housing lens is fogging up during use, we do have the Anti-Fog Inserts designed specifically for the HD HERO camera. Using the Floaty Backdoor

The Floaty Backdoor is compatible with ALL HERO4, HERO3+, HERO3, HERO2, and HD HERO Original Cameras. The following mounts or components will still float when attached to a camera: Handler Hand grip section of the 3-Way (without the extension arm) Gooseneck All other mounts may sink slowly when using the Floaty with the camera, Also, the Floaty will not support the additional weight of a BacPac when used with the HERO4, HERO3+, or HERO3 camera. Type of Battery Used In the HD HERO Cameras

The HD HERO kits include a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack. The battery is charged directly through the USB cable when connected from the camera to a computer or USB wall/car power adapter.
